- Prepares City Council and Planning Commission agendas and agenda packets and records, preserves, and indexes official minutes, ordinances, and resolutions.
- Maintains the Lemon Grove Municipal Code, serves as custodian of official City records, and coordinates responses to California Public Records Act requests.
- Administers municipal elections in coordination with the County of San Diego and the California Secretary of State and publishes election notices, deadlines, and candidate information.
- Serves as the local filing officer under the Political Reform Act for campaign finance documents and Statements of Economic Interests and supports public access to required filings.
- Manages board and commission recruitments, appointments, and oaths of office and maintains the annual Local Appointments List pursuant to the Maddy Act.
- Supports open meeting compliance and provides procedural and legislative support to the City Council and other public bodies as assigned.
