Welcome to the Public Works Department! 

Public Works provides the City of Lemon Grove with operations and maintenance of city streets, parks, facilities, landscaping, drainage, facilities, sewer systems, traffic signals, and street lighting. In addition, the Department administers the engineering activities relating to traffic operations, transportation engineering, and design/construction management of the City’s capital improvement program. 

The Public Works Department's mission is to efficiently plan, design, build, and maintain the City’s infrastructure in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner for the enhancement of residents and the business community. We strive to provide the highest level of services while responding to the changing needs of our City. We seek to create an atmosphere that allows all employees to be innovative, to have pride in their work, professional growth, high self-esteem, and to be committed to excellence.
