Public Comment and Participation
| Public Comment Time Limit | Those wishing to address the Commission during public comment are encouraged, but not required, to complete a speaker slip and provide it to the Planning Commission Clerk at the meeting. Speaker slips will be available at the meeting. Public comment is generally limited to three minutes per speaker, unless otherwise directed by the Chair. |
| Submit Written Comment in Advance | Written public comments may be submitted in advance by email to jpablo@lemongrove.ca.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Please indicate in the subject line the agenda item number you wish to comment on, or note that your comment is for General Public Comment. |
| Comments Received After 12:00 p.m. | For written comments received after 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting, members of the public are encouraged to bring 15 copies for distribution at the meeting. Providing paper copies assists staff in distributing late-submitted materials to the Commission, staff, and the public when there may not be sufficient time to process and circulate them electronically. |
| Why Advance Submission Helps | Advance submission promotes an orderly meeting process, allows materials to be shared more efficiently, and supports timely distribution for the official meeting record. Bringing copies of late comments helps ensure decision-makers and attendees have access to the same information at the time of consideration. |
