Lemon Grove City Council Seeks Applicants for Planning Commission Vacancies
Lemon Grove, CA — The Lemon Grove City Council is now accepting applications to fill two (2) vacancies on the Planning Commission for partial terms.
Interested residents must submit their applications to the City Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, January 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered. The City Council will conduct interviews and consider appointments during the Tuesday, January 20, 2026, City Council meeting.
Applications may be submitted in person or by mail to Lemon Grove City Hall, 3232 Main Street, Lemon Grove, CA, or via email to the City Clerk at jpablo@lemongrove.ca.gov. For additional information, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (619) 825-3841.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Reside within the City of Lemon Grove
- Be registered to vote in the City of Lemon Grove at the time of application submission
The City Council will make appointments to fill the following partial terms, both beginning February 1, 2026:
- One term ending June 30, 2026
- One term ending June 30, 2027
Planning Commissioners receive $50 per meeting attended.
Residents interested in contributing to the future planning and development of the City of Lemon Grove are encouraged to apply.
