In addition to planning, the Community Development Department also manages the City's Environmental Programs, including the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater Program, Climate Action Planning, Solid Waste and Recycling Program, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan Program. The department also provides support to the Economic Development Division of the City Manager’s Office.
