About the Project
The Madera Street Improvement Project will help make Madera Street safer for everyone who travels between Massachusetts Avenue and 69th Street. The project will study how people get around, how fast cars are going, and where collisions have happened to implement safety features that work best for the community.
The following project improvements are currently being studied:

🔄 Roundabout at Ramon Street
🛑 4-way stop at Ramon Street
🚗 Travel lane narrowing
🚴Bike lanes
🛡️ Bike lanes separated by a raised curb
💡 Improved street lighting
🌳 Street trees
♿ Accessible curb ramps
🚶 Curb extensions
