In observance of Independence Day, City Hall will be closed to the public on Thursday, July 4.

Emergency response services will continue through the holiday.

Fireworks are illegal in the city of Lemon Grove and throughout the County of San Diego. It is unlawful for any person to possess, store, offer for sale, expose for sale, sell at retail, or use or explode any fireworks without a public display permit.

The city of Lemon Grove fire department and the sheriff's department shall seize, take, remove, or cause to be removed at the owner's expense, all fireworks being manufactured, offered for sale, possessed, or discharged.
