Alert San Diego

San Diego County OES is expanding AlertSanDiego access and promotion for residents and jurisdictions by simplifying how people sign up for emergency alerts, and how they download the SD Emergency app. Both are accessible at AlertSanDiego.org (the website was previously named ReadySanDiego.org)

County survey data showed that AlertSanDiego was more recognizable than Ready San Diego and the switch to Alert San Diego should help cities county-wide expand emergency notification access.

AlertSanDiego.org is a County of San Diego run emergency information website which offers hazard information, disaster plan templates, maps, and recovery information. The app also features early earthquake warnings, evacuation and shelter information, a mobile disaster plan, and other hazard alerts. Register your mobile device for these important emergency alerts at AlertSanDiego.org.
