Facilitating Access to Coordinated Transportation - In order to assist with the COVID-19 crisis, FACT is offering free transportation for San Diego residents for any essential need through April 15, 2020. Seniors, persons with disabilities, students, veterans and other residents who need assistance, may call FACT at 888-924-3228 between 8am and 3pm, Monday through Friday, to request free transportation anywhere in San Diego County. Please have the names of rider(s), the pick-up address, and the pick-up time available when you call, and specify if you use a mobility device, including wheelchair or scooter. It is suggested to call us one day ahead of the ride when possible. FACT has limited daily capacity – the free rides are offered on a first come basis subject to availability.

Business Resources

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to California small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19. Click here to see if you are eligible.  If so visit Small Business Administration or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov to apply. The application process can be lengthy so apply as soon as you know you qualify.

Lemon Grove City Updates  

Traffic Advisory Meeting March 25, 2020 - CANCELLED

Lemon Grove Park & Berry Park - Gentle reminder to all park visitors to please follow the 6' distancing regulation as ordered by the County Health Dept. and Governor of California. Also, in an effort to protect the health and safety of the community, bathroom facilities will be disinfected twice a day.  

CITY CLOSURES

The City is working to provide essential services to our residents while practicing social distancing. Taking the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 the following facilities and events have been suspended until further notice. 

Passport Acceptance Facility - Closed until further notice, appointments will not be accepted. 

Lemon Grove's Facility Rentals - Suspended

Lemon Grove Library - Closed Effective March 18th, Lemon Grove's Public Library will be closed to the public though March 31st. All programs will be suspended until April 30th. Currently checked out library materials have their due dates extended until April 30th and fines accrued between March 1st and April 30th will be waived. Returns of  borrowed material will not be accepted at this time.

During this closure the following services will remain available to the public: 

  • Uninterrupted access to the library’s WiFi on the grounds (and parking lot) surrounding the library building.
  • Access to information and references services via email and phone.
  • E-resources are still available 24/7 on the Library's website

Lemon Grove's Serving Seniors - Closed All Senior activities and exercise classes are cancelled until further notice due to the growing concern surrounding COVID-19. Home delivered meals are available to all seniors age 60 and above. To sign up or get more information click here.  

Lemon Grove's Spring Day Camp - Cancelled In an effort to practice the proper precautions suggested by the CDC the City has decided that it is within the community's best interest to cancel our April 6th-17th Spring Day Camps. 

Lemon Grove's Pee Wee Sports - Cancelled until further notice.
