School is Out, Summer Meals are In

The City of Lemon Grove Now Serving Up Free Summer Lunches 

School is out for the summer and summer lunches are now in. Starting Monday, June 18, kids and teens 18 years old and younger can enjoy free summer meals at two locations in the City. 

Commit now to having a fit and fun summer by enjoying healthy, free lunches in Lemon Grove (see flyer). Free summer lunches for kids and teens will be available all summer long at the following community locations:

The City extends special thanks to program partner Grossmont Unified High School District for their support with this event and providing summer meals. After receiving the Cities Combating Hunger through Afterschool and Summer Meal Programs (CHAMPS) Grant Award, Lemon Grove is working to promote the development and implementation of Afterschool and Summer Meal Programs in the City. The CHAMPS Grant Award is made possible through the generous support of the National League of Cities (NLC), The Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) and the Walmart Foundation.
